Product Designer
About the Role#
OZ Studio and OZ Designer are the primary interfaces through which venue operators, production teams, and engineers interact with our Physical-AI infrastructure. OZ Studio is a real-time production control surface for managing camera feeds, Playbook execution, and live output. OZ Designer is a scene planning tool for defining camera placements, coverage zones, and activation rules before a single camera moves.
As a Product Designer, you will own the design of these products. You will work at the intersection of complex real-time systems and human usability, making it possible for a single operator to control a six-camera, multi-inference production that previously required a full broadcast crew.
This is an AI-First design role. You will use AI tools for prototyping, user research synthesis, and design system documentation. The design challenge is real: these interfaces display live video feeds, spatial data overlays, PTZ control surfaces, Playbook timelines, and system health, all simultaneously. Getting this right is what separates infrastructure that sits unused from infrastructure that operators trust and rely on every match day.
What You Will Do#
- Lead the end-to-end design of OZ Studio and OZ Designer interfaces, from information architecture to pixel-level execution
- Design real-time control surfaces that give operators confidence during live production
- Build and maintain the OZ design system, ensuring consistency across all product surfaces
- Conduct user research with venue operators, production teams, and field engineers to ground design decisions in real workflows
- Create interactive prototypes for complex interaction patterns: multi-camera switching, Playbook timeline editing, spatial zone configuration
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to ensure designs translate faithfully to production code
What We Look For#
- 3+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex interface design
- Expert-level Figma skills (components, auto-layout, prototyping, and design system management)
- Experience designing real-time or data-dense interfaces (dashboards, monitoring tools, video editing, broadcast control)
- Strong interaction design instincts. You can make complex systems feel intuitive without hiding necessary complexity
- Ability to conduct and synthesize user research into actionable design decisions
- Comfort working with engineers and understanding technical constraints
Nice to Have#
- Experience with video production tools, broadcast control surfaces, or live event technology
- Basic React/TypeScript knowledge, enough to review frontend implementations and suggest improvements
- Background in data visualization or spatial interface design
- Experience designing for operator workflows (NOC dashboards, SCADA systems, control rooms)
- Familiarity with accessibility standards for complex interactive applications
What We Offer#
- Early-stage equity (ESOP). You build the company, you own part of it
- Hardware budget for your design setup (displays, peripherals, whatever you need)
- Annual learning budget for courses, certifications, and conferences
- Remote-flexible work with async-first culture across Silicon Valley, Reykjavík, Nagpur, and Dubai
- Direct product ownership: you are not a pixel factory. You own the design direction for entire product surfaces
- A growing, high-impact team where your contributions are visible and your scope expands with the company
