Capability-Based Camera Assignment (Beta)
OZ Designer enters its first major beta milestone with a fundamental shift in how cameras are assigned. Instead of locking each camera to a fixed role, the system assigns cameras by what shot they can physically deliver, factoring in position, zoom range, and sightlines. Beta testers at partner venues are validating this approach in live match conditions.
- Capability-based camera assignment replaces fixed-role mapping
- Automatic adaptation to venue geometry, so the same policy works across different stadiums
- Capture policy portability with site-specific adjustments applied automatically
- Venue onboarding reduced from custom configuration to policy deployment

We're opening up the OZ Designer beta to new participants. If you operate a venue, produce live sports, or build broadcast infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
Beta partners get early access to capability-based assignment and upcoming features: spatial game contexts, event timeline authoring, and the full Playbook V5.1 orchestration format. More than early access, partners participate directly in roadmap planning, surface real-world edge cases that shape the product, and influence the features that ship.
This is a co-development programme. The venues and workflows you bring to the table directly inform what OZ Designer becomes. If you want a seat at that table, join the waitlist.
